As it prepared for its acquisition by Constructel Visabeira, a leading company in the global telecommunications and energy networks engineering sector, Obelisk required a refreshed identity to reflect its new global vision and position the business as clients’ partner of choice. This work spanned web design and development, digital, brand collateral and vehicle livery.

Solution

Inspired by the company’s commitment to innovation and progression, we developed a new visual identity for Obelisk, representing the provision of power, broadband and renewables, and a never-ending commitment to their clients. It symbolises growth and movement, while also portraying the team’s versatility and adaptability.

The brand tagline, ‘Beyond Connection’, reinforces the company’s mission to be clients’ partner of choice and commitment to going further than its competitors to deliver best-in-class services. Drawing upon the imagery of an obelisk towering above all else, Obelisk as a company goes further than its competitors to deliver best-in-class work, spanning maintenance, support, problem-solving and connectivity.

The brand’s new look and feel was rolled out across a new brochureware website, and across all social channels to deliver a consistent brand presence.

As a business with several functions, it was important to have the new identity feature at every touchpoint for employees and clients alike, so we designed a full suite of new brand collateral, stationery and van livery to prepare the business for its global expansion.

We also worked with Obelisk to develop its storytelling, managing the creation of a suite of new visual assets, and leading content creation and design of the company’s first Sustainability Strategy & Impact Report in print and digital format.
