Newry agency, Mitso wins tender to develop new DBEC digital hub

Brand and digital agency, Mitso has recently been awarded the contract to deliver website design, development and content management for the Dublin Belfast Economic Corridor (DBEC) Partnership.

Following a competitive tender process of 15 bidders, Mitso, which has offices in Newry and Dublin, was awarded a three-year contract to work in collaboration with DBEC to develop a new digital hub, aiding the promotion of the corridor as a great place to live and work.

The Dublin Belfast Economic Corridor (DBEC) Partnership is a local Government network formed by eight Councils and two universities located along the Dublin – Belfast Economic Corridor. The Partnership came together, formally in 2018, to work collectively to find ways of realising the potential benefits of further development along the corridor.

Mitso Managing Director, Maeve Finnegan comments:

“We’re thrilled that Mitso has been chosen as the agency partner for the Dublin Belfast Economic Corridor Partnership, helping to develop a new digital hub.

As a business based along the corridor, with offices in two of the DBEC Council areas, our team fully understands and believes in the potential that this economic corridor holds, and we’re passionate about elevating awareness of the corridor as a great place to live and work.

Considering recent political and economic developments, now is the time to capitalise on cross-border trade opportunities and to invest in long-term sustainable growth across the island of Ireland, and we look forward to working with Elaine and the wider partners of DBEC in the coming months.”
